24 Things Women Over 30 Should Wear

Warning:Curves Ahead

This morning, as I was perusing my Facebook timeline, I happened upon an article that a lovely friend shared. It was entitled “24 Things Women Should Stop Wearing After Age 30”, and it triggered Maximum Eye-Rolling from everyone who took the time out to read it.

Written by Kallie Provencher for RantChic.com, this “article” (I use the term loosely) highlighted things such as “leopard print”, “graphic tees”, and “short dresses” (because “By this age, women should know it’s always better to leave something to the imagination”). Kallie, it seems, has a number of opinions on what women over 30 should and shouldn’t be doing, having also penned “30 Things Women Over 30 Shouldn’t Own” and “20 Pictures Women Over 30 Need To Stop Posting Online”. (What is this magical post-30 land where women are suddenly not allowed to do or own so many things?!)

Motivated by Kallie’s “article”, I decided to…

Lovely Jubbly Ljubljana

more than london

Ljubljana can be translated as ‘beloved’ or ‘loved one’. If I was to use three words to sum up the capital of Slovenia, I’d say it’s pretty, compact and charming. I think that complements the translation pretty well. Here’s what happened on my latest city break:

Lake Bled

On our first day, we took a trip to Lake Bled. I’d seen stunning pictures on Instagram and friends had been and raved about this place. I couldn’t wait to see it for myself. We took the bus from Ljubljana bus station, which took about 80 minutes and cost 12 euros return. Upon arrival, I wasn’t disappointed. Although there was low cloud and initially, it was pretty grey, it was truly magical. Reflections shone off the lake lighting up the buildings that edged it on one side and the autumnal colours of the malting trees looming overhead were beautiful. We walked…

Innsbruck: My New Favourite City

more than london

My new favourite city. Nestled in the Alps, Innsbruck is the most picture perfect city I have ever visited. We decided to go just a week before we flew and got a really good deal on flights and hotel, booking our flights with Easyjet and the wonderful Adlers Hotel via booking.com. For the Easter weekend we paid just £220 each for flights and hotel making it unmissable! Here are 13 photos showing you why you Innsbruck needs to be on your travel hit list…

1. Adlers Hotel

I’ve mentioned it already but Adlers Hotel is up there with the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. It’s the tallest hotel in Innsbruck and at just 12 floors high, it’s certainly not a skyscraper. Opened in 2013, expect dark and moody rooms with mountain views to die for, big bathrooms, a lush spa, and awesome rooftop bar and restaurant (more on…

Worüber ich rede, wenn ich über Sex rede

READ ON MY DEAR, READ ON.
